Stop Motion Animation - Wire Puppet Build

Moving forward on my stop motion project I've been researching ways of building figures. You can buy armature kits, but they can be as much as $150! Seeing as how my budget for this entire project is about $50 I needed something much cheaper. I found a tutorial online and built an armature using wire and epoxy putty, it cost me $8.00. By the way, epoxy putty is awesome and I will be sure to keep some in my tool box from now on.

Tacky Tuesday - Abalone Jesus Lamp

I have an affliction. I collect tacky decor, and I can't stop! I thought I would share some of my goodies. Here we have an abalone Jesus lamp that I found at an antique store. Unfortunately the lamp part was so old it had to be removed, but I love it anyway.

If I lived in Los Angeles I would definitely go check out the current show at Gallery 88. 100 artists reinterpret He-Man! I loved that cartoon when I was kid.
