Hi. Saw your link on Illustration Friday. I love this illustration a lot. There is something wonderfully sad about Sock Monkeys, esp. Sock Monkeys alone in a bar.

You've done a fabulous job with this illustration...did anyone notice that the olive is alone too? The martini has indeed been imbibed I think.
When you're a sock puppet it's kinda hard to be alone, since you always have a human hand up your cloth behind. That's why the Muppets seems so wound-up all the time ! Great illustration! You have a wonderful quirky sense of humor !
A monkey who's a barfly is indeed a clever take.

How you've managed to make him look sad/reflective/world-weary when his mouth is stuck open and his eyes almost fixed in position I don't know, but you have!
